Housewife succumbed to poison, husband fled

A house named Zayeda Akhter (26) committed suicide in Phulpur in Mymensingh. The husband Mofazzal Hossain escaped to death. The case was filed with the police. The incident occurred on Friday at Mitchki village of Bhaitkandi union of Fulpur upazila. It is known that Zayeda Akhtar, the daughter of late Abdul Kadir, was married to Mofazzal Hossain, the son of late Nabi Hossain of the village Chonpolaishya, seven years ago. During this long period, Zayeda had no children, there was often a quarrel between them. On the day of the incident, the husband Mofazzal accused her of being pirates by seeing her mobile elsewhere. Both of them talked out. At one stage, Zayeda poisoned. Later, Zayeda died on the way to Phulpur and later to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Then the husband ran away and fled from the body of the wife Zayeda. Officer-in-Charge of Fulpur Police Station Mohammad Badrul Alam Khan confirmed the matter and said a case has been filed with the police. After the autopsy, the real mystery of Zayeda’s death will be known.
