The great Ekushey February Shaheed Dibos and International Mother Language Day are celebrated at Phulpur in Mymensingh. On this occasion, various organizations, organizations and individuals including Upazila Administration and Upazila Parishad are promoted with enthusiasm during the first phase of the Ekusday in the central Shaheed Minar at around 12.01 am, the blossom was given to commemorate language martyrs. Upazila administration, Upazila Parishad and upazila Awami League supported the flower cluster, respectively, Fulpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jebun Nahar Shammi, Upazila Chairman Adv.
Abul Basar Akand and Upazila Awami League’s Senior convenor MA Hakim Sarker. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tripti Kona Mondol, Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman Monwara Khatun, Social Service Officer Shihab Uddin Khan, SI Sumon were also present there.
After that, morning ferries were held with the participation of different schools, colleges and madrasa students, teachers, public private educational institutions, political non-political organizations and officials of different NGOs. Upazila Nirbahi officer Jebun Nahar Shammi led the morning ferry. Assistant Commissioner (Land), Tripti Kona Mondol, Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman Monwara Khatun, Social Service Officer Shihab Uddin Khan, Upazila Education Officer Acting Saiful Malek, Secondary Education Officer Mostafizur Rahman and senior officials of different educational institutions were also present. Discussion meeting, beautiful handwriting competition, composing competition, cultural program, pray, milad and prize distribution ceremony were held on the occasion of Shaheed Dibos and International Mother Language Day on February 21. Besides, special prayers were offered in various madrasas including Excelent School and Madrasas for the forgiveness of the souls of language martyrs. Besides, Hifzul Quran competition was held in Ledu Sarkar house Darul-insan International Madrasa of Amuakanda, Fulpur municipal town, and in the initiative of Hamdard Fulpur branch, free medical treatment and distribution of medicines among poor, helpless and destitute were distributed.
